Leadership Promotions & New Hires

CPI Card Group, a world leader in card solutions for 30 years, with EMV card manufacturing and services capabilities in the U.S. and Canada, announced today several leadership additions which will continue to strengthen the company’s ability to serve its customers and drive key growth initiatives. The leadership addition of a new vice president and chief financial officer and key leadership promotions are as follows:

Jerry Dreiling, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jerry Dreiling brings over 20 years of experience in finance and strategic planning to CPI Card Group. In his role of VP and CFO, Dreiling will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, tax, controllership and investor reporting.  In addition, he will have responsibility for the information technology and procurement functions at CPI. Prior to joining CPI, Dreiling held the position of CFO at Picosecond Pulse Labs.

Bill Harper, Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. Commercial Market
CPI Card Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Harper from general manager of CPI’s Nevada facility to the position of vice president and general manager of the U.S. commercial market. In this position, Harper will be responsible for commercial sales and customer care (Nevada) and will assume responsibility for leadership of CPI’s quality and operations councils.  Prior to joining CPI Card Group in November of 2010, Harper was vice president of operations for YORK Label.

Docia Myer, Vice President of Financial Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and eCommerce
Docia Myer, vice president of customer experience, was recently promoted to handle the additional responsibilities of financial sales, marketing and eCommerce, along with maintaining her current role of customer experience. Myer brings over 15 years of experience working in customer relation roles and in her current role, Myer shapes the customer experience for the U.S. financial market by managing the sales, customer care and marketing teams. 

Andy Sappenfield, General Manager of U.S. Financial Operations
CPI Card Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Andy Sappenfield from general manager of CPI’s Fort Wayne facility to the position of general manager of U.S. financial operations. In this position, Sappenfield will be responsible for financial card and service operations and have responsibility for CPI’s Denver and Fort Wayne facilities. Sappenfield joined CPI (Didier Printing) in Fort Wayne as plant controller and has since been a key contributor to CPI through accounting and finance functions, as well as operations. 

Paul Boge, General Manager of U.S. Secure Prepaid Market
Paul Boge of CPI Card Group was recently promoted from general manager of CPI’s Minnesota facility to the position of general manager of U.S. prepaid debit market. Boge has a 20-year strong career of accomplishments in operations and since joining CPI in 2005, has continued to excel in his profession.

Diane Jackson, Director of Products and Services, Europe 
CPI Card Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Diane Jackson from Business Development Manager to the position of director of products and services in the UK. Jackson joined CPI with over 15 years experience within the retail financial services sector. Since joining the UK team in 2009, Diane Jackson has raised the profile of CPI in the card market industry and will now focus on identifying new growth opportunities through the development of innovative new products and services.

Paul Gerrard, Director of Retail Sales, Europe
After 12 years of dedication to CPI Card Group, Paul Gerrard was promoted to director of retail sales from the position of head of prepay in the UK. In his new role, Gerrard will continue to make progress in prepaid for CPI in the UK and develop new business in international markets.
