U.S.: CPI Card Group was recognized by ICMA with three awards including Badge Design,
the prestigious Élan Award and an Outstanding Member Service Award.

Every year, the prestigious ICMA Élan Awards cast a spotlight on the best of the best in
the global card industry, honoring world-class achievements in both card design and
technological innovation. Widely acknowledged as the most renowned showcase for card
excellence, the coveted Élan Awards distinguish ICMA member manufacturers and
suppliers before peers and customers as industry leaders. The Élan Awards celebrate
ICMA members’ commitment to the design quality and technical advances that drive the
future of the global card industry, which is ultimately the true winner in this acclaimed
program.

CPI has had the privilege of winning an Élan Award every year back-to-back since 2003.

"Year after year, CPI Card Group strives to be the best in card design, quality and
innovation," said Steve Montross, president and CEO of CPI Card Group. "And receiving
esteemed recognition for our efforts through these ICMA awards is a true honor for us."
The Badge Design Award showcases the talents of card manufacturers who have captured
the spirit of the EXPO location in an eye-catching way. CPI won for the PowerCore Card

the Steinmart Style Card. ICMA also recognized Barry Mosteller, director of research and
development for CPI Card Group, as the 2012 Outstanding Member Service Award
